YouTube has shut down educational crypto channels, saying they don’t want to host content that’s “objectionable,” “misleading,” or “exploitative.” The channels had millions of subscribers.
According to YouTube, educational crypto channels violate the company’s Community Guidelines. But the company hasn’t said it will remove them outright from YouTube. In fact, YouTube said it will keep some educational crypto channels around, though it’s not clear how many. The move comes days after YouTube announced it would no longer allow crypto-related ads.
Other YouTube channels were also shut down without explanation, according to Forbes, only to be reposted later, again without explanation. The Bitcoin community was angered by YouTube’s conduct, which many saw as a personal attack.
The founder invited her to speak on Web3 and non-fictitious currencies after the Bankless channel was unbanned.

The TerraUSD is a Stablecoin with reserves in assets like as cash and commercial paper. Stablecoin runs have the potential to spill over into the traditional banking system, according to regulators. Nonetheless, regulators remain split on the size of the damage posed by a crypto catastrophe to the financial system.
